In this episode, we’re tackling the oh-so-dreaded task of follow-up emails for small business owners. You know, those moments when you’re wondering what to say, how often to nudge, and why on earth they haven’t replied yet? I’ll walk you through how (& when) to follow up with potential clients!

First off, let’s shift our mindset: follow-up isn’t about being pushy. It’s about helping your potential client, who spent the time to research & reach out to you, figure out whether or not you’re the best fit for them. When done well, following up with leads can truly be an act of service, not an annoyance.

And regardless how you feel about it, there’s a chance you’re losing out on 80% or more of potential clients simply by not following up enough… Persistence pays off, but I want to help you find the fine line between diligence and desperation.

When it comes to crafting follow-up messages, I walk you through my escalating email strategy. Because silence? It’s already a no. So why not follow up in a way that will actually get you a clear answer? Using psychology-backed tactics, you’ll increase your chances of actually getting a response. Let’s not add anymore “ghosts” to your CRM haunted house, okay?

By the end of this episode, you’ll have a general outline of what to include in follow up messages (and when to send them).

Need a bit more help making follow-up less of a headache? You can check out my course, Systems That Sell. We’ll dive deeper on exact follow up stats and strategies. Plus, I’ll teach you exact verbiage examples to get the best results from your follow-up emails. You’ll be able to write all of your templates and feel confident reaching back out to potential clients.
