Juggling motherhood & entrepreneurship (or really any parenting & demanding work, for that matter) can be challenging. I can’t tell you how many business coaching calls I’ve done with my clients who have their little one along for the ride… and each time, I watch in both admiration and fascination at how well they seem to juggle the chaos of nursing, toddlers that want to sit on their lap, or kids popping in to ask a quick question with our serious business conversations.
One of these moms is Alyssa Keel, co-owner & photographer (with her husband Ryan) of The Keel Collective. When I first met these two back in 2021, I was truly flabbergasted at 1) how little they slept (2-3 hours a night?!) 2) how much they had on their plate – especially with two littles with rare health conditions and full-time jobs.
If you talked to them today, you’d think you were meeting completely different people. They now spend more time as a family and actually get to sleep normal hours. Oh – and along with all that freedom, they have grown their business working with even more clients than three years ago.
