As women, we may be in the habit of seeing our period as an unwelcome guest, but what if we’re looking at our cycle all wrong? What if you just haven’t figured out how to sync your business & your cycle to maximize productivity yet?
For example… Do you ever feel like there are just certain times of your menstrual cycle when you feel more creative or productive in your business? Or maybe you know that during your period, you can knock out bookkeeping in minutes? But if you try that same task during ovulation, you’ll lose your mind trying to sit still? You’re not alone.
Cycle in Seasons
When I started learning about this years ago, one explanation I heard equated the female (roughly 28 day) hormone cycle to the seasons of a year. Our hormones mimic what we experience mentally as we transition through winter, spring, summer, and fall.
So, if we know this is going to happen, we have two choices: embrace it or fight it. And I don’t know about you, but as much as I can wish for snow to melt and summer to come sooner, it doesn’t work. Your hormones are no different. So, in this episode, I encourage you to start working with your cycle to maximize productivity.

We always compare entrepreneurship to a rollercoaster, but by starting to sync my cycle with tasks that are naturally easier for me to complete during different phases, I’m not only more productive… I’m happier! I find myself fighting mental hurdles a lot less and I wish the same for you.
